PRODUCER RESILIENCE

Against a backdrop of systemic and structural challenges, So-B-Green works with its partners to build resilience. With households at the heart of our initiatives, we work to combat and remedy child labor, provide technical training to producers to improve their productivity, and offer alternative solutions to ensure the ecological and economic transition of plantations. We propose income diversification plans to help families achieve a decent income. Finally, our programs foster household resilience through nutritional training, while seeking to empower women financially, thereby helping to promote gender equality.

TERRITORIAL RESILIENCE

So-B-Green, in close collaboration with its partners, promotes deforestation-free supply chains and fosters biodiversity through the deployment of sustainable practices that preserve forest systems. Through these actions, So-B-Green strives to develop intensive agroforestry systems aimed at reconciling agriculture and forest preservation. This approach includes the development of local governance pacts to ensure responsible use of natural resources.

How long has So-B-Green been in business?

So-B-Green has been operating since July 2018.

So-B-Green has an established presence in France, Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, but can intervene in any region where its customers operate.

How SBG supports local communities through its projects

So-B-Green supports local communities through training, capacity-building, support for schooling, the implementation of territorial agroforestry plans and support for the local economy, notably through the deployment of income-generating activities.
