COMMITMENT AND RESPONSIBILITY
Fighting child labor
So-B-Green’s commitment to community development is a core value. Through programs such as SSRTE (Système de Suivi et Remédiation du Travail des Enfants – Child Labor Monitoring and Remediation System), we are actively involved in the fight against child labor, raising awareness and supporting local communities in this endeavor.
STRENGTHENING THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN THE COMMUNITY.
Women's financial empowerment
As part of our program to empower women and promote nutrition, we have launched the “Women’s Resilience Pathway”. This initiative, based on the principles of GALS & VSLA (Gender Actions Learning System; Village Savings & Loans Association), aims to strengthen the role of women in the community. By strengthening their technical and financial skills, we are contributing to greater resilience among women and an overall improvement in family nutrition.
PERFORMANCE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Crop diversification
Through our network of partners, we ensure a guaranteed market and financial security for farmers who embrace the crop diversification approach.
EFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY
Technical training and innovation
So-B-Green considers technical training and innovation as 2 complementary approaches to simultaneously ensure greater economic resilience for farmers and an ecological transition. Here are a few examples of good agricultural and environmental practices contributing to ecological and economic resilience: crop pruning, bio-input production, agroforestry techniques and the development of ecosystem services.

So-B-Green FAQ
Farmers resilience refers to the ability of farmers, herders and other food production actors to cope with challenges such as climate change, price fluctuations, crop or animal disease, and to adapt to maintain their production and livelihoods. This can involve adopting sustainable farming practices, diversifying crops or activities, and accessing financial and technical tools to cope with disruptions.
The segmentation of farmers, a key element in our approach to change, enables us to provide appropriate technical and financial support.
We can’t guarantee resilience, but we are committed to accompanying farmers on their path to resilience. Each farmer has his or her own resilience strategy, depending on the objective sought: economic and/or climatic and/or social resilience.
